Kimber was born on May 12, 1994 in Waukesha, Wisconsin. She moved to St. Charles , Missouri at 6 months old and lived the rest of her life there. She was the type of person that would change a room when she walked in. Her energy, beauty and personality would shine through and make where ever she was, the best place to be. Kimber graduated from MIZZOU with a Masters in early childhood development and education and became a teacher. She loved each and every student she taught and they loved her back. This truly was her calling and in only a few years of teaching, she impacted the lives of so many children. On June 9, 2018, Kimber and Kyle got married in a fairy tale wedding. That was the happiest day of her life. So much life to live, so much love to give.
In 2019 Kimber was diagnosed with Small Cell Ovarian cancer. This is an extremely rare form of ovarian cancer and little is known about the cause or the cure. Kimber, Kyle and her entire family fought this disease with multiple surgeries, 6 drug chemo regimens, stem cell transplant and radiation. She was the bravest person we all knew and fought so hard to be one of the very few to beat this cancer. Along the way, she influenced so many people and kept inspiring the children she taught. She truly was an angel on earth. Although she was only meant to be on this with us a short while, she changed the lives of everyone she knew. It was her hope that we would carry on her dreams by helping other women fight this terrible disease as well as continue to help underprivileged children.
